Dr. Kate Ross
Co-Medical Director
Dr. Ross is a board certified dermatologist and is the Co-Medical Director of Premiere Weight Loss Center. She focuses extensively on patient centered care. She attended medical school at Florida State College of Medicine and completed a 4 year residency at the University of South Florida in Tampa.
She is trained in the treatment of Acne/Rosacea, Keloid scarring, Lupus, Psoriasis, Melasma, Inflammatory skin diseases, Eczema, Skin cancer, Drug rashes, Excisions, Moh’s surgery, Flap/Graft reconstruction, Lasers, Botox, Filler, and much more.
She has trained at Moffitt Cancer Center and is familiar with chemotherapy induced rashes, rashes caused by underlying malignancy, cutaneous lymphoma, and melanoma.
She recently published a seminal article in Dermatologic Surgery on Photodynamic Therapy and has participated in clinical research trials at the University of South Florida on Psoriasis and Hidradenitis Suppurativa.
Dr. Ross is currently accepting new patients for Dermatology and Weight Loss. We will make every effort to schedule appointments within a week of referral, or on a more urgent timeline if needed.
Dr. Melinda Lacerna
Co-Medical Director
Dr. Melinda Lacerna, our Medical Director, has extensive experience in all aspects of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery with special interests in Aesthetic and Reconstructive Breast Surgery, Body Sculpting, and Body Contouring after Massive Weight Loss.
In 1998, she obtained her Medical Degree from University of California in Irvine; she then pursued her training in General Surgery at Kaiser Permanente in Los Angeles followed by Plastic Surgery residency at Temple University in Philadelphia.
She is Board Certified by both the American Board of Plastic Surgery and the American Board of Surgery. She is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons and is a member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons.
